Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a diverse group of 2nd and 3rd graders at a multi-age, project-based, dual language school in Phoenix, Arizona!
Although this has been such an unpredictable year, my students still manage to come to class each day with a smile on their faces.
My Project
My students spend time each day working on an app that furthers their learning. While students are working independently, I use the time to pull small reading groups. This allows me to personalize learning for my students.
As of now, we do not have enough headphones for the class and the ones we do have are broken.
This makes it hard for me to teach my small groups and it makes it difficult for my students to focus.
Having a class set of working headphones would be monumental in helping my students succeed.
