My Project

Help our school create a space in our cafeteria where our Eagle Card recipients can relax, have fun with each other and engage in social opportunities during their lunch times. We would like to provide some "old school" fun for our middle schoolers to increase their socialization and give them an opportunity to relax after working hard in class all morning.

Learning is hard work and takes a lot of energy from our students.

Providing them with fun options during lunch that allow them to relax, be silly and socialize with their peers is also important to their academic growth! Many of our students are unable to freely socialize after school, face to face with their friends from due to being from 23 different CT towns as they have chosen to attend our magnet school. We would like to provide them a chance to practice important social skills that come from face to face interactions as well as playing cooperative games with one another.
