My Project
My very eager readers need some new books! They have worked hard so far this year to become engaged in chapter books, but my bookshelf is lacking in new fiction.
My students have made specific requests for their new favorites.
I had them make a wish list, and I added some other books to the lists. I have included a few series (3-4th graders love a good series, and this helps them understand how fiction works) and some that are up for the Washington Otter Awards.
I also have a few Spanish bilingual students, so it is important that I have a variety of Spanish books, also. Some of them have an English equivalent, making them great partner books.
