My Project
I’m a first-year teacher who just graduated from college in May 2025! During my student teaching, I had the opportunity to work with an amazing group of 3rd graders, and I’m thrilled to be continuing with many of them as their 4th grade teacher this August. I’m beyond excited to begin this journey and committed to being the best teacher I can be—supporting my students academically, emotionally, and in their day-to-day needs.
Classroom tools like a rug, floor seating, chair storage, a storage cart, and plastic bins will help create a welcoming and flexible learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
A classroom rug provides a communal space for group discussions, read-alouds, and class meetings, helping to build a sense of community and offering a break from traditional desk learning. Floor seating gives students the flexibility and comfort to choose where they work best, promoting independence and focus. Chair storage helps students keep their materials organized and accessible, fostering responsibility and reducing clutter. A mobile storage cart makes it easy to move materials around the classroom for small group work or centers, while plastic bins help keep supplies and resources clearly sorted. Together, these tools will support my students in developing academically, growing emotionally, and staying engaged in a well-organized and student-centered classroom.
