My Project
My kindergarten students are the most lovable, loving, cutest, funniest, most creative, and the hardest working little five and six-year-olds you could ever meet. They love to learn and they strive to be their very best in every possible way. Both their academics and their character matter to them. They make me proud every day! Every day!
As the year nears its end, the students are all anxious to become fluent, independent readers.
To prepare my students for first grade, they need decodable books that they are able to read and that build in skill levels. They also need comprehension passages that move them beyond fundamental reading to comprehension of different texts. These books are also perfect for independent work, group work, and whole class reading and writing. They are one of the single most important resources I can provide for my students in terms of their growth!
