This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom needs a new e-reader to provide students with a vast amount of digital books and informational research. Our students love to research and discover topics of interest, and having an e-reader that I can download and add age-appropriate material to would be extremely helpful. We are running into many advertisements and distracting websites that deter students from what they need to do. Google searches are not very helpful at the age of 8, and students love to research and discover new things. An e-reader dedicated to student books would be a great addition to our classroom.
