Help me give my students two iPads that will allow students to read online and access and explore many websites that will help their education at home. The iPads will provide multi-level activities to strengthen specific skills and strategies.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our little school of about 230 students has made great gains academically over the past years with the small budget we receive. We are often overlooked because we are so tiny. Our school's budget covers basic supplies and not much else.
We are an example of a working community of students, faculty, parents, and staff all working together for student academic success.
Our hope is that many of our students will continue to maximize home/distance learning with the essential tools to succeed regardless of this pandemic. Our class is made up of a group of diverse learners who are eager to be creative and explore their educational interests. During distance learning, the students' only access to a library is using the iPad to go to websites that offer free books like the public library and Epic! Books for Kids. They also listen to stories online read by actors and actresses.
My Project
I want to make sure my students have the necessary technology they need to continue their learning from home. Having digital access is important to our students to keep connected with each other. Digital learning and teaching is the best way to continue school during this pandemic. Having an iPad is much easier to use for the younger students since the laptops require a lengthy process in setting up and logging in. iPads are ready to go as soon as they arrive with minimal set up after the teacher sets the parental controls.
