My Project

This is my first year as the teacher librarian at my elementary school. I am trying to make changes in hopes that students will find their next favorite book. In order to do this, I am leaving old school library organization behind. Starting this year, I am turning to dynamic shelving for my entire library.

Dynamic shelving helps increase the visibility and diversity of my collection.

The materials in this project are to help my students easily browse books based on genres and topics of their choosing. The books will be displayed face out and students can be intrigued by the book covers. My goal is that students will see some wonderful books in our library and will not leave empty-handed.
