My Students

I have the privilege of serving as the STEM specialist at a large urban high school on Chicago's south side. Along with a traditional high school curriculum, our students are also exposed to a career path and we attempt to integrate STEM principles throughout their day.

Our students never cease to amaze me with their resiliency, creativity and creativity.

They are the reason I am in my twentieth year at the same school.

My Project

Having a computer with a higher processing speed will help me to deliver content to my students in a more creative and dynamic way. Currently I have trouble with just basic video calls, which does not do anything to keep the students engaged.

Switching to remote learning has been a journey for both teachers and students.

Now more than every teachers have to go the extra mile to capture the attention of their students. I have researched a variety of apps and add-ons to make lessons more interesting, now I just need the ability to transmit these to students.
