I am thankful every day for the privilege to teach such a diverse group of learners. We come together on a daily basis, learning from one another.
We are a middle school of 800+ students with a pride in community and a passion to grow.
Our students grow up in a unique military community, where students and community members learn from on another. We are at 100% free/reduced lunch. Teachers, administrators, students and the community continue to work together to make our school the best it can be.
Continual encouragement is imperative, so they can become the best learners they can be. With various backgrounds, they all encompass the need to grow and learn so they can become a competitive, functioning citizen.
My Project
Bringing literature to life is a wonderful way for students to connect to their reading. Novels are engaging, with class discussion and writing prompts, but allowing students to create a 3D depiction is powerful.
Modeling clay is a great way for students to make a diorama come to life!
It allows for students to be creative and provides a different mode of learning, while working with their hands.
I sincerely hope you see the benefits to purchasing the items, which I know will be a hit for the students, as they are challenged to depict their favorite part of Holes by Louis Sachar.
