My students need a DVD/VCR combination to be able to view educational videos, autism DVDs, American Sign Language videos, and also a tablet to enable them to communicate.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our DVD/VCR player broke and now we can't watch any educational videos. We used to watch videos on phonics, American sign language, and Autism movement therapy on our TV but cannot anymore.
Our classroom is at a High School and serves the needs of those with a variety of special needs.
The students in this classroom are happy, hard workers who help out in the cafeteria and around campus. They love participating in Autism movement therapy but we need the DVD player working to do this. Also, some of us have trouble communicating so the tablet would help us see pictures we can select to help us make choices.
My Project
We are requesting a DVD/VCR combo player so we can practice phonics, American sign language, and Autism movement therapy on our TV. A tablet would be a great addition to our classroom as students with less language will be able to use pictures to communicate easier.
This request is very important to creating a great learning environment for our students.
We have seen major improvement using Autism movement therapy in many of our students and we would like to continue to help our students be able to communicate with the world.
