My Project
I am fortunate to work with some amazing students with extraordinary abilities because of their learning differences and it has been very rewarding to see their small milestones and achievements. In order to facilitate successful outcomes and IEP goals I need to be able to ensure these materials are durable and long lasting. These materials must be used consecutively each day for many weeks before replacing them. I can only do so by laminating these materials such as their personal schedules, self-monitoring charts,behavioral charts, visual hands on interactive teaching materials, ASL charts, interactive teaching manipulatives.
My learners are mostly visual and kinesthetic and learn best through having mediums to interact with, hence the need to have materials that can last longer than a day's use.
