My Project
I would like to build my first graders' understanding about reducing waste and promote environmental conservation. One way is the use of reusable water bottles. Each day, I see my students use disposable plastic bottles and they often spill water. The bottles requested are made of durable, screw-on cap with a spill-proof design. It's perfect for my students! Each bottle will be labeled with the student's name so that they can be easily returned if mixed up or lost.
This project will provide reusable water bottles to students and help reduce the number of disposable plastic bottles used each day.
Students are also taught about sustainable living and environmental conservation. As for the different sizes , some students stay afterschool and therefore may need bigger bottle to hold more water. The bottles will be given to my summer school students, as well. Thank you for your consideration and your kind support!
