This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By donating to this project you will be providing over 100 students who come from low income families. Students will receive a durable plastic folder as well as pencils, personal sharpeners, and dry erase markers that they can use each class. This allows students to come in, and not worry about having the materials needed to complete the task. In math we are constantly using dry erase markers to model our thinking, and for quick checks, and sending home papers. Plastic folders last the entire year for our students and have proven to help a student be successful.
