Last school year, we used LEGO challenges to help students learn to organize their thoughts, plan, and realize their most creative dreams. These activities proved wildly and widely popular! The littlest people in our building were watching and waiting for their turn to realize some STEAM dreams.
Learning and playing go hand and hand for the awesome children in our Early Childhood program, and we need some age-appropriate blocks for them to create, imagine, and explore.
These DUPLO sets will be used in the library in conjunction with story times and book explorations. Quickly growing brains will then have the opportunities to engage in ways the older students have loved but with more appropriately sized bricks. As they learn to realize their building intentions, they will also learn important academic skills as well as equally important SEL skills like patience and collaboration. Thank you for considering helping us realize this goal!
