This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students work hard all day at school and then stay after school once a week for an hour to further develop their learning about bugs!!! During this time they are strengthening their literacy, math, creative and social skills while studying the fascinating world of bugs!!!
I’m requesting materials for my after-school bug club to help students develop important skills while developing an appreciation for bugs!
My students have no clue that they are strengthening academic skills while also exploring the world of bugs through literacy, math, creativity, and movement!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
