Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Ours is a kindergarten Dual Language curriculum where children learn to listen, speak, read and write in both English and Spanish. We need resources such as posters and charts for a print rich environment, books with Spanish text, manipulatives for concrete learning, music, and games.

All of these resources will add to our program, creating a welcoming and invigorating learning environment.

They are resources that will support my students this year as well in in future classes to come.

In addition to language, I also focus on social emotional growth and development, and there are books included in this project that will support that endeavor. Ours is a whole and balanced age appropriate curriculum. We learn and play every day with purposeful intent!
