Our school is a wonderful school. This year, unfortunately because of the COVID-19 situation and the safety of everyone, our district has opted to do the online teaching method until further notice. My little first graders are getting to learn all about Zoom and show up every day eager to learn.
Each day and each Zoom session I try to inspire my students with the joy of learning, and keep my Zoom sessions engaging, fun and the students are always full of excitement to see what each day brings.
My Project
When hosting a Zoom session to teach my students online, I navigate through multiple open windows and applications, including Zoom, in order to present my lessons.
Having an extra monitor to set up a DUAL monitor station, will help me navigate between these open windows much faster and I can be more efficient when presenting and that will help the students to be more engaged with learning.
This can make it fun for them.
A smooth presentation can improve my students’ online learning experience, and increase their engagement. My 1st graders can better absorb my teaching lesson if they experience a better online class. How fun for them to do a math activity that is engaging and has them up and moving with different lessons at a time.
My students need me to be as "efficient" as possible when presenting from my computer. However, navigating between multiple open windows including Zoom gets overwhelming and slows down my teaching.
Since I only have limited time to present I would like to have a dual monitor option where I can keep the Zoom window open in one monitor and other applications open in another monitor allowing me to organize and streamline my teaching to my students.
Having a DUAL setup monitor resource available to me would truly help me be a better Teacher and would help my students benefit and maximize their learning and keep their lessons fun and engaging.
