My Students
My students are amazing. They are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to create projects. Students work in groups to complete projects and rotate supervisor positions to help manage their individual skills. They use the engineering design process for all of their projects.
My students are eager to explore the world and technologies in the classroom.
In my classroom my students live by the quote, "Design. Build. Transform." We are always looking for new and innovative ways to explore technology and the world around us.
I teach middle school Technology Education to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. We are a public school. There are approximately 120 students in each grade level. Technology Education classes are required for all grades. We also offer two elective classes for 7th and 8th grade students.
My Project
We will use the materials we are requesting to make our tables into dry erase boards. The students will use the dry erase boards to sketch up drawings and diagrams for projects. They will also be able to take notes during class and use the dry erase boards for many more classroom learning activities and lessons. The markers, erasers, and cleaning materials will be used for the dry erase tables we are making as well as the flexible rulers to help them with their designs.
This project will make a difference in students lives because we are always drawing up designs and putting our ideas on paper.
By making the tables into dry erase boards we will not be wasting paper and can make changes to our designs by simply erasing and starting over.
