Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The dry-erase table will transform the way my 3rd-grade students engage with math, reading, and collaborative activities. Instead of using traditional paper-and-pencil methods, students will have the opportunity to brainstorm, solve problems, and express their thinking in a more interactive way. This hands-on approach encourages active participation, immediate feedback, and creativity, helping students grasp concepts more effectively. It will also reduce paper waste, making our classroom more environmentally friendly.
My goal is to create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment where students feel excited to explore and problem-solve.
The dry-erase table will foster teamwork, allowing students to collaborate on math problems, writing activities, and brainstorming sessions with ease. Additionally, I aim to enhance student confidence by providing a low-pressure way to experiment, erase, and refine their thinking without the fear of making permanent mistakes.
My 3rd-grade students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn in creative ways. They thrive when given opportunities to collaborate and engage in hands-on activities. Each student brings unique strengths and learning styles to the classroom, and a dry-erase table will help meet their diverse needs by offering a flexible and interactive workspace. They are problem solvers, thinkers, and future leaders who deserve innovative tools to help them succeed.
