Dry Erase Markers Needed for Engaging Classroom Lessons

My Project
I have 73 wonderful and energetic fifth grade students in my four language arts classes. This is our first year that the students are working together in study teams of four. Their teams change after we have completed a chapter. I am fortunate enough to have large white dry erase boards for the teams to use, but since we use them daily, the dry erase markers are drying up and have to be thrown away. The students work together and discuss the content and present their information on the dry erase boards. Sometimes they even present to their classmates. They love to write on the boards! I have found that this approach really gets the students actively engaged. I have them draw and complete graphic organizers on the boards to show their learning of the content, which is mostly non-fiction.
By donating to this project, we will return in August with brand new colored dry erase markers for the students to use to show their learning.
In addition, I have added ten pairs of over-the-ear headphones for the students to borrow. Our reading curriculum requires the students to listen and engage with a program called Boost for ten minutes a day. Some students don't have headphones, so they borrow them from me, but over time, the wires break, and they have to be thrown away.
