it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my math classes, students use dry erase markers on a daily basis to complete their warm-ups and assignments. We go through many markers during the year as they can dry-up and run out of ink over time. My classroom needs a refresh of dry erase markers for the new school year!
I have found that successfully solving math problems becomes less intimidating for students when they complete their work on a dry erase board instead of normal pencil and paper.
I think this is because the work on dry erase boards is so easy to fix and their is no evidence of an error after correcting a problem.
I would like to continue having students complete work using dry erase boards next year, but I can only do so if we have enough markers to get use started for the year. Your generosity is appreciated!
