Dry Erase & Coloring

My Students

At AES, we foster a community of students with strong character and high self-esteem who display critical-thinking skills that will enable them to become life-long learners. Our staff members and parents work together to educate more than 300 children in grades PreK-5th. Our school is a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and free lunch.

My virtual classroom consists of 15 amazing, diverse and imaginative students.

Each student is unique and will bring their own energy and inquisitiveness to the classroom. We are a learn-through-play class that includes pencil/crayon/marker-to-paper activities, virtual, distance and digital learning.

Students learn through play, create and are involved in a host of hands-on learning activities.

My Project

My students are in need of more materials because what they're using has become discolored, broken, dried out, etc. And some never had the basic materials needed from the beginning. These materials will allow them to participate in virtual/distance learning while enjoying the ability to create and use fine motor skills. Listening to stories, then writing/drawing their ideas and thoughts help increase academic skills; sharing their work with colored pictures and letters/words created on the white boards help with social interaction as they discuss their work with the class will bring a smile to their faces.
