My students are having some of their most formidable first years of in-person school. As third graders, the last time many of them had school structure was sometime in first grade. They are a brilliant and caring group that is excited to learn new things!
My Project
Station work gives students a ticket to independence, responsibility, fluency, and problem solving skills. I am looking for materials that will enhance agency in the classroom through personalized tools: individualized book bins for each student's weekly text selections, dry erase boards because we love to learn from (and erase!) our mistakes, and a college lined magnetic poster for our writer's workshop modeling.
Everyday our space continues to foster safety, learning, and discovery.
