Help me give my students hands-on experience making music with drums & other instruments.

My Project

More than 50% of the students are Native American, Latino or Black and more than 50% are low income.

We will use the instruments to explore different genres from around the world.

We will explore how different rhythm patterns can completely change the music. The tuned instruments will help us explore melody patterns. The students will be excited to play together instead of having to wait their turn. For most students, this is their first opportunity to play an instrument. Seeing the excitement in their faces as they learn something new makes my day!
