My Project
Student musicians from each grade level will assemble to meet, watch and listen to Regina Foster, a drummer for many famous singers and musicians like the Ohio Players and Patti LaBelle. She will speak about her experiences as a student musician, and then as a professional musician. She will conduct a hands-on workshop where students will be able to participate in activities with their drums, like "Call and Response", and "Students Play". Throughout the workshop, there will be plenty of opportunities for student musicians to ask Ms. Foster questions, in addition to a more formal Q&A section at the end.
