This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Part of the way into last school year, I was moved from my nice secluded classroom outside the main building to a classroom in the front hall of the main building. My students love playing the drums. They especially like using the drumsticks while playing the drums.
Drum practice pads will allow my students to play the drums with the drumstick without disturbing everyone in the entire building.
Having practice pads will allow the students to do activities that they love to do and make an appropriate amount of noise for the space we have now. It will also help the students who have trouble dealing with loud noises be more comfortable in my class.
