My Students
To move forward with a second year theater program, the music in a musical is a top priority for me as a music teacher. We do not have the space to house a full percussion battery and I would like to advance the technology that we currently have.
Our students are enthusiastic and grateful for all of the new additions to the music department.
If the funds were available, there simply isn't a technology that I wouldn't audition for a place in my classroom. Unfortunately, music and the arts come last when new technology enters the building.
My Project
By supporting this project, you understand that the drum set may be used by fewer kids than my previous grants. This technology will however be made available to the general population for my units on composition and throughout the year in classroom performances.
This project would be amazing to accomplish because I can see it being a hit among the older students.
With a troubled band department, I am eager to energize our young instrumentalists!
