Bright colored murals, beautiful garb, fresh fruits and vegetables at the corner market, and the smell of delicious Indian food coming from the nearby kitchen; this is the environment my students live in. We have a beautiful neighborhood that embodies the Indian culture. Unfortunately, my school is in a low-income neighborhood. Many of my students, a diverse mix of cultures too, attend a school that strives to give these eager students who are ready to learn, an excellent education. Many of them are first-generation Americans and are excited to begin school!
My Project
These microphones would be a major hit in my classroom! I have so many different ways I would love to implement them in my classroom.
A microphone in the classroom would get my kiddos eager and excited to participate!
Some of my students have a tough time reading in front of the class or presenting their projects. These microphones would be a great way for them to step out of their shyness and share their work! Readers theater is also something we do throughout the year. Students would have a blast taking turns using the microphone! Or how about a fun dance party on Friday afternoons! They would love to sing along to their favorite tunes and let loose after a week of working hard!
My kiddos would be so excited to be able to use microphones while learning!
