My Project
My 3 classes at our middle school need more technology. Since technology is so rapidly evolving, I would like to expose them to as much as possible to help them succeed in the future and with pursuing STEM careers. My students are 60% demographically from low income families. They need more opportunities to interact with cutting edge technologies such as drones. Drones are the future of navigation, military applications, geographic science, and surveillance/search and rescue. My goal is to have them experience this unique technology and use the drones to learn basic aeronautical science as well as tell stories with them.
