My Project

My students love having series of books in the classroom. Several of my students have read all of the series books I currently have. Giving my students more of a selection of books in first grade will help to increase their interest, as well as increase their opportunities in reading. Having books of their interest will help increase stamina by keeping them entertained during independent reading. These sets will also help to encourage my struggling readers by giving them a goal to strive towards. The books I've selected will also allow my students to take Accelerated Reader tests to help build their comprehension.
