My fourth, fifth and sixth grade students need 10 flash drives to aid in our computer work.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Jones's classroom raised $227
This project is fully funded
Teaching science and social studies to fourth, fifth and sixth grade students in an urban Indiana setting can be a dream as much as a challenge. Many are new English learners. It amazes me how technology savvy they can be.
If the kids are "interested" in the activity at hand, life is good. We share laptops with other classes. Saving, storing and retrieving their work can be quite time consuming. There have been times that I've had to help them "save" and then e-mailed myself in order to print a copy of the work.
If we could acquire 10 flash/jump drives, it would be possible to more accurately save and retrieve writing material and projects by my students. In my "dream" world, each student would have his or her own piece of technology!
Your generosity will help my 90 students to take another step towards their goal of being "published" and becoming better writers! We would be truly appreciative of you, our guardian angel! .
More than half of students from low‑income households
