Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth graders love PE! They have shown great growth over the course of the year, even becoming the designers of activity circuits that they teach to the class. We have also worked on various gross motor skills to improve their movement, agility, and cardiovascular endurance.

Now it's time to bring on basketball!

With the basketballs and carrying bags requested in this project, we would be able to work on the foundation skills required to play a pickup game at recess or a competitive game after or outside of school.

From dribbling to passing to shooting, I hope to encourage and inspire students to try something new or hone skills they already have so that they can play at recess, lunch, and in their future.
