My Project

Creating opportunities for social interaction is a daily challenge in my classroom because my students struggle with social skills. Recently several students have become interested in dressing up with the clothes we have. It has become a daily activity and has increased communication among some students and helped create a daily fun and motivating play activity where kids can interact with each other.

I want to create a dress up space in our classroom with more choices and a spot to keep everything.

The dress up organizer will help keep everything in 1 spot and it has a mirror which will help students be able to see what they are putting on. The new dress up clothes in this project will create more dress up choices for my students and keep the activity motivating with a variety of items to choose from. I'm so excited to see my students continue to work on social skills through play by using this dress up center. They will be able to work on so many skills and I can't wait to see their progress!
