This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom is made up of 18 eager-to-learn students. This is many of my students' first time in a school setting. My students live in a community that is a high need​, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Additionally, we have many students who have been living in homeless shelters their whole lives.

My students want to learn and develop and understand what school is about while having fun.

With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.

With our school losing over a million dollars from the school budget for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school year, we need your help now more than ever!

My Project

I am asking for clothing for my dramatic play center, the area where my students get to be whatever they want to be when they grow up.

With your generous donation my students will be able to pretend they are a postal worker, a doctor or a construction worker.

My students will also be able to build an understanding of what these workers do in the community and how they can help us.

Thank you for supporting the important learning that the students in my class do each day and giving them a change to figure out what they love to do.
