Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school's uniform policy aims to foster an academic environment, yet it unintentionally burdens our most vulnerable students, including those experiencing homelessness, recent immigration, or foster care.
These families frequently face significant financial hardships, making uniform obtainment a real challenge.
To ease this stress and genuinely promote student well-being, we're requesting uniform shirts for distribution to those in need. Providing these essential items will create a more equitable and supportive learning atmosphere, allowing every student to focus on their studies without the added worry of clothing. This initiative will have a positive impact on their school experience.
