This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By contributing to our project of two class sets of books, students will have direct access to reading materials. We do not have a class set; physically reading along will make a difference.
My goal is to encourage students to read and find enjoyment in reading.
This will help to broaden their tastes in reading. I hope to develop their reading and comprehension skills.
My students come from many different racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. These differences are what make our students special. Despite where they are coming from and regardless of their educational background, they have a strong desire to learn.
