My Project

I teach in the Washington parish, a very rural and economically disadvantaged population. Some students have never been to big cities. I chose books that bring the students to different parts of the galaxy, so they could open a book and be in a different country. My goal for this project is so that students will be totally immersed and engaged in reading class and pauses in other classes. It will be great for rainy days when you can’t go outside, or scorching hot days when it’s too hot to go outside.

My students are important to me and special, each one of them is like their own finger prints, unique and worthy.

Please help me dream a little dream of reading, one book at a time. Together we can change my students great blossoming trajectories.
