My students need a drawing book they can use in the art room and their classroom throughout the year.

My Students
My 5th grade art students love coming to art once a week for 50 minutes. They each have a sketch book that they were given at the beginning of the year which they bring with them to class each week. They use their sketchbooks to develop thumbnail ideas for projects, take notes and sketch.
By 5th grade most students have developed a solid foundation in some art techniques.
They are very interested in drawing and sharing their work with me and their classmates. They enjoy learning new techniques and practicing new art skills.
My Project
5th grade art students love to draw and enjoy improving their drawing skills. Many of these students will not have the opportunity to take art once they move on to middle and high school.
Using the Art for Kids Drawing book will give these students a boost in their art confidence before they leave elementary school.
With the book, students can focus on drawing skills that interest them on their own time during the school day. They can keep the book in their classroom to use during their free time. We can also use the book during art class to reinforce the drawing lessons.
