My Project

Peirce artists are creative, enthusiastic learners. Our students are interested in understanding the intricacies of creating art and applying that knowledge to their class projects and skill development. We are currently seeking support for a comprehensive library of drawing guides in our art room. This resource will be accessible to all 4th through 8th grade students, providing them with a valuable tool to enhance their drawing skills.

By having a dedicated library of drawing guides within the art room, students will have the opportunity to witness the transformation of basic lines and shapes into more complex and intricate drawings.

This collection of guides will cover a vast array of subjects, allowing our artists to explore various themes and techniques without relying on a computer for step-by-step instructions.

The benefits of this library extend beyond the enhancement of drawing skills. With hundreds of subjects to choose from, students will have the freedom to select projects that align with their interests, fostering a sense of choice and motivation. The library is designed for varied abilities and ages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.

This resource will play a crucial role in providing enrichment to students when needed, as well as scaffolding their learning experiences. This drawing guide library will serve as a space for artistic exploration and development at Peirce School.
