As a Title I school, most students are living in poverty, and they are not encouraged to develop their creative skills. Everyday they struggle to learn grade level skills, so when they come to art, they are ready to cut loose and have fun. I use the energy they bring each day to jump into the lesson before they lose interest.
My students come to school each day eager to express themselves through art, and they deserve to work in an amazing space that will motivate them to dream big.
My classroom is full of fun art visual elements like giant paintbrushes, crayon sculptures, and 3-D paper flowers. I want my students to see all the amazing things that we can make in art. Students go back class with a new energy. after each art class.
My Project
My students love markers!! They don't use them too often because most are dried out. With your donation, my students will have plenty of supplies to use during class. They won't have to share during the class.
My students have needed new markers so they are able to do what they love best.
They love coloring with markers and using stencils. When they come to art, my students will feel like they have an amazing space to learn and create. Students will get to use a variety of materials to create art.
