My students need these sketch books and pencils because they enjoy drawing and creating their own anime creations. They like to draw and create interesting drawings, which help them to escape from reality for short time.

My Students
My classroom is like my students' home-away-from-home. It is a place where I am fostering a love of learning with a sense of independence. My classroom is set-up to be a place where my students can learn and feel as though they are somewhere safe.
Our school is located in the poorest and one of the most dangerous cities in the U.S.
School is typically the only safe haven that these kids know. My students live in a city where the dynamics can change in the blink of an eye. Even though my students live in a city that has its ups and downs, they are always eager to come to school to learn and experience new and exciting things. The students in my class are all classified as "Autistic". All the students in my building look out for my students and they will give them "high-5s" when they see them. I want to be able to provide my students with every experience that they will need to be successful in this world.
I have told my students, "Even though you have autism, you can be anything you dream to be." My students have a special place in my heart!
My Project
By having these sketch books and pencils, it will allow my students the ability to foster and enrich their love of drawing, along with be able to create various styles of anime images. Each student will be able to have their own drawing book for their amazing creations and this will aid in helping them to relax when they become upset.
Drawing and creating various types of anime is an amazing outlet for my students and it allows them to create their own special images.
It allows them to express themselves and what they are feeling on a daily basis along with allowing them to escape the stress of living where they do!
My students would throughly enjoy having new and different types of drawing supplies to draw their creations in. These items would be a change from the pieces of paper that they staple together to draw their pictures in.
