Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher dedicated to fostering a creative and engaging learning environment, I’m always looking for ways to integrate technology in ways that can prepare them for life beyond our classroom. Next year, we will be transitioning to iPads. However, one important tool that is missing is a stylus, for students to write and create.

An Apple Pencil would allow my students to interact more effectively with their digital materials, enabling them to take notes, draw diagrams, annotate texts, and collaborate on projects.

I teach science. We model our learning often by drawing and labeling what we know. I would love to be able to extend this to our technology, while being able to add creative features like animation to show the before and after in different investigations. With a stylus, they could draw arrows, label and explain the scientific elements of each investigation.
