My Project
My students are bright and creative. Art class each week is a highlight for them. They love drawing. I love their drawings, too!
My goal for this project is to give my students the pencils, paint sticks, and erasers that they need to enhance their drawing skills.
Drawing also helps to improve their handwriting and cognitive skills.
My students are special because, though they love art, we are a Title One School. Consequently, many of their families cannot afford the better art supplies that I want to provide for them. Having quality materials to work with in an art classroom can make all the difference in student attitudes toward doing a good job in art class.
