My Project

Dramatic play is essential to children's development and learning. By creating an area that inspires children to create and imagine what is possible, we support their growth and build their confidence. When children participate in dramatic play they are able to deepen their understanding of the world. It helps them build relationships, express themselves through literacy and language, and helps them grow cognitively through the use of abstract thinking. The dramatic play props and furniture like the market stand, salon kit, and laundry supplies will allow the students to use and apply abstract thinking and life-skills that will encourage independence and grow their vocabulary and communication. The firetruck and castle buildings will allow the students to expand their imaginations and grow their love for learning concepts like community helpers and fiction/fairy tales while being able to use props. The construction and building blocks will teach students fine motor skills, planning, and ways to make structures all while allowing them to use their imagination and increasing their vocabulary by playing make-believe with the resources. Your support will help provide a space to grow their social/emotional and language skills!
