Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come to school ready to learn and explore every day. They have great imaginations and enjoy role-playing in the dramatic play area. It is important for me to provide age-appropriate centers for them to learn and play in. Having a new dramatic play area will help them be creative as well as learn how to interact with one another.

For many of my students, this is their first school experience.

My students enjoy attending class every day. They look forward to going to our class centers. My students attend a Title I school and come from a low social-economic background. All students receive free lunch.

My Project

My students will use these materials to explore and play in the dramatic play area where they will develop their social/oral skills as well as teach them how to share. The Magna Tiles will allow my students to use their imagination to create houses, planes, towers and just let their imaginations fly. The dishes, pots, and pans will allow students to pretend to cook delicious meals for their friends.

My students love to use their imagination!

By donating to our class project, my students will be able to go to the dramatic play area and develop their oral and social skills that will enhance their cognitive development in a classroom setting.
