This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My preschool students are three to five years old. My school is in sunny California where children come to school each morning ready to learn and grow! There's never a dull moment in our class. My students are busy bees moving from one interest area to another. They're eager to learn, explore, engage and experiment with the instructional materials and centers I set up for them.

My students need instructional materials to engage with to foster their interest in technology, literacy, math, science, art, and engineering.

They also need instructional materials to support their social-emotional learning to help them grow into well-rounded individuals. Every single one of my students deserves a fair chance at having his or her potential nurtured and fully developed. My little ones have an insatiable curiosity. It's important to me to have a class with a variety of instructional materials to meet their educational needs.

My Project

My students need the Wooden Ironing Board Set and Play Iron to use in the dramatic play area center to use as props in dramatic play sequences with peers. Using these props will foster my students' social and language skills. They will have the opportunity to participate in dramatic play and use language to express themselves as they communicate with peers. In addition, my students will learn to play cooperatively and to share as they take turns using the ironing board and iron.

The Speedy Snow will provide my students with an opportunity for great sensory play and science exploration.

The kids will love touching the speedy snow! They will be given the opportunity to use descriptive words to express what the snow feels like and what color it is. They will also learn about the animals that live in the snow and how snow is formed. All of their questions will help foster language development.

The Sleeve Shock Absorbing Case Cover will serve to protect our newly acquired classroom iPad Pro.
