Dramatic Play Materials for Multiple Primary Classrooms

My students need 5 dramatic play costumes to develop their social interactions and to learn about important community workers and their important roles.

My Students

Who are those community workers? What do they do? Why do they do it? Our class would love to learn and discover through dramatic play!

Many of the students at our school have sheltered home lives and do not receive a great deal of support from their families.

Many students come to Kindergarten with very low academic abilities and poor social skills. For the most part, school is their "safe" place and a place for them to grow and flourish into amazing young adults!

My Project

These dramatic play costumes would shared throughout 3 classrooms in our school - all of our kindergarten team. The students will be able to learn about many of the important and vital workers in our community, what they do, how they do their job, and why they are so important. Dramatic play is a very powerful way for students to learn social skills and how to get along with their peers. The learning and imagination of the students is never-ending with dramatic play!

Because the dramatic play materials will be shared among 3 kindergarten classrooms, they will influence over 50 children - EACH YEAR!

These are materials that will last many, many years and will be extremely important in the development of young children's lives! Students will be learning about important community workers while developing life-long social skills with their peers!
