Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dramatic play is a powerful tool for teaching preschool aged children about health, safety and real life experiences. Children can pretend to be doctors, nurses, teachers, firefighters or police officers. Which help them learn about these professional roles. Through pretend play, children can practice what to do in an emergency. They can learn about healthy habits. Fillling the roles of their family members (playing mom, dad, aunt or uncle etc..). Building emotional readiness helping them process their emotions and problem solving. By integrating dramatic play into lessons, I can make learning both fun and meaningful, ensuring that children retain important information in a way that feels natural to them.
