My Project

My drama kids are getting back into the swing of things after several turbulent years.

After so many grading periods where I've had to say to them "That's a cool idea, but we don't have the resources," I want to show them what's possible.

I want my course to be one where if they can imagine it and design it, we can do it. We are building our bank of tools and supplies, and the requested air compressor/nailer and cordless sander with sanding disc will go a long way towards being able to build professional-looking theatre set pieces. Learning how to build theatre set pieces will teach my students skills that they can use for the rest of their lives, and it may inspire some of my students to pursue a career in the arts.
